Because I get asked a lot:

My main camera is a Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1a (that's their 3CCD Hi-def capable model).

Most of my editing is done on software called Ulead that came bundled with my DVD burner. That's why I use it, not because of any particular affinity with it. Although I do think it's quite good software.

The exception to the above is when I make movies with iMovie and the webcam on my MacBook.
