I'd like to clarify something about our little vid: hopefully it is clear this is intended to kick Karl Rove while he's down, not mock anyone unfortunate enough to receive "stop loss" orders.
That's something I've never understood when I read about the anti-war movement in the seventies—why all the anti-troop sentiment? By contrast, as a guy who currently attends a fair amount of anti-war meetings, marches, and the like, I can honestly say I've never heard anything remotely untoward said about military personnel. Instead, there is inevitably heartfelt expression of empathy, concern, and—to echo an overused term—support. Just so's ya know.
