Nice arguments.. but 'Ouch' your spelling hurts!

It might seem pedantic - but a blatant disregard for spelling is often a sign of a lack of attention to detail, or a sign of not having done much reading.
I know there may be other reasons; but even if so, running a spell-checker might be a wise way to make sure your ideas aren't prematurely dismissed.
You might argue that someone should look beyond the spelling to dig a little deeper for what matters - but I'd argue that though it may seem unfair, avoiding bad-spellers is in general a very effective way to steer clear of lazy-thinkers and trashy writing.
If you're an exception to that rule - I encourage you to prove it by putting in that extra little bit of effort to dissociate yourself from that camp.
