It's like a test maybe, you have so many choices and yet you can do really well or mess up seriously. After-life probably because you can do so bad and you'll die - but if you do really well you die anyways at a certain point. So that's.. really unfair. Or maybe the opposite (never dying). It depends. Hope you see some of my points.

Alas, I haven't heard of a lot of theories regarding this topic as you're the first person I'm talking to about afterlife and pre-life.
I don't really believe in the latter one as -for me- it doesn't add up why we'd go through a whole life and then forget everything. I'd actually consider life [here] as the beginning.
