There is a group which calls itself religion that uses it's so called scriptures as a form of segregation and discrimination. They've fought hard to keep this information from the general public.
I've tried to get so much as one Member of the Church of Scientology to step forward and say that they do not follow this portion of their scriptural doctrines.. None has, and now I know why.
The sections which say, all those who are not members of their church should have no civil rights and should be segregated from society.
They feel their beliefs give them right to lord over the rest of us. It doesn't matter your race of creed. If you're not one of them you must convert or be expelled from society.. This is their view, and this view MUST be changed. They must be allowed to think for themselves and the beliefs which have made them virulent to society must be cast out.
I am NOT anonymous, and this is why!
These people are not allowed to interpret their faith. They are not allowed to dismiss parts of their scripture. Ages ago Christianity, Judaism and Islam all went through the realization that some of their scripture must not be adhered to by the word, so must the Cult of Scientology if it chooses to enter the world of legitimate faith.

I'm sick of varied groups stepping forward to turn tragedy, and the actions of a select few, into part of a propaganda campaign to further their own political objectives.
People should be held accountable for their own actions. Our culture has been blaming everything and everyone for their actions instead of making a person accountable for their own actions.

The deaths of a celebrity is very different from that of the rest of us. Tom Cruise was lost to us some time ago, and now it looks like Will Smith may be doomed to the same fate..
The slow agonizing death of personality at the hands of the brainwashing indoctrination of the Church of Scientology.
Tom cruise, as he was known was destroyed, via death of personality by the cult. His acting career and popularity have plummeted as a result.
I believe Will Smith will suffer the same fate, in time. It's a shame I like him as an actor..
So, I thought I'd say my goodbye to one of my favorite actors before the person he is today is dismantled and all the remains is "Will Smith, Scientologist".
But that's what he gets for getting involved with and defending a group he knows nothing about.
There's nothing worse that seeing a person walking around, knowing that everything they once were is gone.

Many people look at the world as cause and affect. In any true discipline that cause becomes more and more diffused as they come to better understand the perceived outcome. As I said previously, a chemical imbalance isn't a big deal.. Naturally that had a lot of people flying off the handle.
Why not, it's a heated issue. Many insist there is no such thing, and that such imbalances don't cause mental illness. I will now both agree as well as disagree with that view. The imbalance, which I consider a bit of a misnomer, does not cause these varied disorders. It's part of a bigger picture, which many refuse to see.
The human body is a wondrous place, as is the mind. There are many chemicals within the brain which, varied by the amount of each, are responsible for us being able to feel. Claiming they give us our emotions or even control them is a bit misleading. They simply allow us to feel. You have different stimuli and react emotionally in accordance, but those feelings exist because of chemicals being released within the brain. So beyond the simple biological aspect of where emotion comes from, those feelings are still yours and no less valid.. they're no less your, and no less true.
Most of the currently listed disorders could be corrected by changing varied socioeconomic or environmental conditions which are causing the emotions in the first place. Many of the Psychiatrists -- note I stated psychiatrists, not psychologists -- which are trained today are indeed taught more about the medicinal treatments for disorders instead of attempting to treat the whole person by trying to find the root cause.
If a person is often anxious or depressed the chemicals which allow us to feel these emotion will indeed be more prevalent within the brain. Claiming the cause is due to some malfunction within the brain is erroneous in most cases. More often than not these situations can be resolved by normal therapy, supportive friends and family, or even a better personal understanding of what lead to the person feeling that way. It's a matter of developing better coping skills.
In my opinion, in these circumstances Medicine, herbal treatments and so forth should only be used as a crutch to ease the persons stressors while they learn to deal with their problems and develop better coping skills. Simply trying to take a magic pill to make all your problems go away is not healthy, and is more likely to lead to more dire consequences if the root of the issue which lead to the problem is not addressed.

This section includes some of my personal views regarding the DSM and Diagnosis.
In chapter 11 they talk about the DSM, Diagnostic and statistical Manual.
I haven't followed the field of Psychiatry very closely over the past decade or so, and from what I've seen during my research there has been much change within the industry. Much of this change I find, frankly, appalling.
The DSM 4 was on the verge of release when I last had involvement with Psychiatry. Those in the field to whom I'd spoken to about the new book were all displeased. They had a great amount of respect for the DSM3, and the DSM3R..
I was told at that time, point blank, that there were many conditions within the DSM3 which had been included for billing purposes, to appease the Insurance companies. This was so that said organizations would pay for treatment, as not to burden the patient.
I was told how inane the DSM4 was, prior to it's release. Many within the field, at that time, had no desire to use the new edition of the DSM due to the vast expansive inclusion of trivial entries.
I would like to make some important clarifications. Many of the psychiatric "disorders" which were added with the release of the DSM4 and later editions are, in my opinion, bullshit. Unfortunately the psychiatrists that make these decisions do not really speak for the community at large, and do indeed seem to have their own agendas. It IS indeed quite possible that some of those making the decisions may indeed be influenced by drug companies. I cannot, and will not refute that assertion.
The pharmaceutical companies do have a great deal of money, and power. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of those decision makers got where they are with the help of corporate influence. This can not be proven, however it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
The road to power is a perilous one. Often those that achieve their lofty goals will use terribly unscrupulous means to achieve their ends. Wisdom, rationality and morality are often trampled under the footsteps of ambition.
This can be seen throughout our culture. David Miscavige, the head of the Church of Scientology, is a prime example of the effects of ambition. He was not the leader chosen by Their founder L Ron Hubbard, but used every dirty trick he could to usurp control after Hubbard's demise. It is a shame that those that lust for power often receive it.
As I believe I have stated previously, most of the disorders listed within the new edition of the DSM aren't illnesses, strictly speaking. They just people who are having difficulties dealing with life with the coping skills they currently have.
I feel it's important to take a moment to discuss diagnostics.
A psychiatrist asses a persons diagnosis based on varied criteria based on their emotional state. They are limited by what the person states. There is no safe or reliable way, that I am aware of, to monitor brain activity over a prolonged period of time. Even if they were to monitor said activity it would only reveal chemical concentrations and changes. After comprehensive study of such a thing, they could eventually learn to interpret what emotions a person is tending to feel. This would not resolve the root issues which lead to these emotional states, merely serve to verify whether or not the person was being honest.
So based on their patient's statement the shrink shoves the person in a proverbial pigeon hole, and writes out a prescription for whatever should help them feel better based on the diagnosis. Diagnosing psychiatric problems is a bit obnoxious. There are too many potential disorders listed, so when asked to offer a diagnosis without further time and information .. the person will be classified based on the problems the psychiatrist is more familiar with. This does affect diagnosis in the medical field as well.
There are some problems which have psychiatric manifestations which are biological in origin as well. Tumors, massive infection, glandular or hormonal problems, dietary or vitamin deficiencies, and some neurological conditions as well. Many of these can be resolved through standard medical science, however these issues will seldom be diagnosable by those within the Psychiatric profession.
Someone who has experienced a sudden emotional change without any catalyst, in my opinion, should also consider speaking to a nutritionist, and/or physician first to insure the emotional change it's a side effect of another problem. Naturally that's my opinion, and I'm sure there are many that would argue with me on this point.
