I have been getting out when I can, as we unbelievabely enjoy a proper summer! What is going on!? hehe But unfortunately I'm aving to comrimise my time out as I have to be on the computer as well to study for exams :-(

Sounds very nice : ) Strawberries are out of season where I am but at least you have them. I like marigolds and begonias. I like roses but they are high maintenence so I don't bother with them. I have tulips and daffodils for early spring. I'll plant any kind of flowers really as long as I can get them to grow.

Your garden sounds fantastic.

The arts festival was fun. They close down a street to traffic and the arts and crafts vendors set up along the sidewalk. They also had several live music acts playing on several stages. About 350,000 people attended so it is a major event where I live. It was the second arts festival I went to this year.
