Why? Bill Clintons/Republican congress94' economy was one that by 1999 was devastated. USA was Bailing out the world monatary fund, maybe 4-5 major Bailouts, billions of $ Americans wealth. Then bailed out the wallstreet business, gambling on exchange rates with Grandmas retirement. They Lost it! ALL of it! The fed printed some more up...Billions...that would have rippled through the Economy. Then the 2000 tech stock dump. I remember alot of jobs being sent over seas, because we would convert to the great Information Society.
