hey francis, Dont know if you remember me, its Donald. We had a small jam in culloden academy when you were visiting a few months ago, im one of mr gilmore's students. Just wanted to say thanks alot for the guitar tips and ive been watching some of the enids tracks from both youtube and a DVD from Mr G's classroom. Id just like to say the enids music is fantastic and is idolised by my long distance band. There is no other band like the eind!
thanks again! Don. |

Thanks for this. So many memories of those early Marquee gigs etc, and those Capital Radio Adverts that first led me to find out about you. (That must really date me) One day I hope some sort of CD version of the original recording of Region will be published. MUst dig out my vinyl version - it must be buried in dust in my mother's loft. Good to hear you're back recording.

Interesting for me. I was the vocalist on Fall of Hyperion. Wonderful listening. Thanks Francis. Love the comment about Roberts girth - twas ever thus. Jim Scott used to call him Robert Frogsbody:)

Brilliant. First saw the Enid mid 70s at the thursday night rock club in cleos in Derby. Summer Stars blew me away then and did watching the video on YouTube just.
Hopefully more stuff will see the light of day. Yours Phil |

Francis - thanks for this mate. I can't believe it is nearly 30 years ago that we were all shacked up in Hetford. I think my girth is now the size Robert's was back then. Like everyone else, I thought you'd disappeared off the face of the earth. Great to know you're still around. Please get in contact.
