thanks for that ! i have been to a quite a few places in turkey but this was when i was younger and i was with a big family. ive really fell in love with the country and at this age i want to go to istanbul for a holiday with my friend who is also 18. my family do say turkish are lovely people and i know that, but they also seem to be too protective towards me going as they say a blonde girl like you will need to be protected going there! all i really wanted to do was ask if anyone else agrees with this and that i should prepare myself if i will go basically haha but by what other people say i have nothing to worry about :)

This is why you also don't see Westerners flocking to Africa, the Mid East, Asia or (non-white)South America, but you see people from all these regions going to the West.
