Digamy (Dig-uh-me)

is a three peice rock band from Astoria Queens. Fronted by David Guevara on guitars and vocals, Vlad Berlin on the bass and Elijah Catrone on drums. The band was formed in 2005 by David Guevara and Jesse Berrerra, two friend who wrote music for the sake of returning faith to rock n roll. after parting ways David continued Digamy recording a 5 track demo including some of the bands most popular songs like Logic and Soda Highballs. Digamy has gigged locally and their aspirations to become successful in the music world continues to fuel their ambitions. Their contributions are a free and true sound expressed by the feelings and settings that the band and it's members surround themselves with..The bands longest remaining member is the guitarist and vocalist David Guevara. Through time, Digamy has worked with many musicians, each who have left their own flavor and set their own standerd to the sound of the band today . David, having worked with a variety of NYC's musicians says "It's only as good as each person made it, im lucky to have my friends (members) who play with me now in it to win it. But i am certainly thankful of those who where there for the ride. And i feel that they too have left their own little peice into our band today. I guess you can say Digamy is the band EVERYONE has been in."
Digamy's style is a liberal form of expression. Unique and hearfelt. The artwork, like the music, are contributions by the artist's who have cared enough to watch the band succeed. In short Digamy is a on going project, a collection of feelings and memories that through all of it has stayed true to itself. The band is currently getting ready to record "Digamitus" which will be their first full length CD and will be made available through itunes and tunecore.
