MY REVIEW ON CRASH: MIND OVER MUTANT. (FROM EXPERIENCE AND OBSERVATION SKILLS)

POSITIVE SIDES:
+Altogether, Crash: Mind Over Mutant is a fantastic return for the bandicoot and is a must have. The story unravels in a complete mystery and takes those unexpective radical turns that surprises you and makes you laugh.

+Cutscenes in the game are good. Often alternating between 3D or another cartoon style. There are more cartoon cutscenes in the game than 3D, but it's still good to see that the game has been animated in so many styles. This is how you know that ACTUAL planning was put into the game's storyline, unlike the ND titles, which sadly lacked creativity when it came to story ploting (albet too short in story detailing back in the ND days, no offense ND Crash fans, this is my opinion.)

+The graphics are so beautiful that it looks like you're playing a cartoon movie. It has plenty of detailing and it's no wonder why Coco isn't playable in the PS2 version. The graphics are so good that it takes of lots of memory. The characters look PERFECTLY poised with perfection. These are the best designs so far to me.

+The music score is great! Done once again by Marc Baril. His pieces of music in this game makes every part of the traveling experience fun. It's 100% Crash Bandicoot material, and it reminds me of the old days when Crash was with ND a little.

+The voice quality is OUTSTANDING!!! Warner studios VA's return to Radical's booth to present you the hilarious voices of yesteryear. Brio sounds FANTASTIC to me. It's not the same, but he has a smart charm to his voice that perfectly defines his character. He mostly sounds serious, but if he gets happy or angry, his old self kicks in and he studders out of fustration sometimes. His personality is different, but some features still remain, but sadly, he's not as comedic.

+Gameplay is fun and addictive. It's like they combined the gameplay elements of Twinsanity, CTTR, and COTT and put them all into one game. Crash has a silly run (something that is in all the games except Titans,) and the combat and puzzles are nice. Crash can store titans in is pocket, but he can only hold a few of them. Bosses require less thinking though. Some parts are challenging and there isn't levels in the game, only traveling in a free world with missions given by other characters.

NEGATIVE SIDES:
-The camera control is still and there's hardly no way to navigate the camera in the game, (A common Crash game issue.)While not being too much of an issue, it makes back tracking difficult at times, and long too. It also makes the game feel linear and not like the free roamer it is. A camera control feature like they had in Twinsanity would've been nice.

-You can't just save your game like in Crash of the Titans. You have to save your game at one of the glowing tiki statues. You have the save game menu, but it doesn't save you directly in the spot it only saves your collectables. They have enough tiki statues laying around on nearly every corner, but it's still somewhat annoying. An inclusion of a "Pause and Save" feature that would allow you to be in a percise area would've been nice. Too bad they didn't think of it.

-There's not enough bosses. I'm not gonna spoil you, but the game needs more bosses. Speaking of which, more characters would've been better too.

My rating on the game: 8/10 (GREAT, DECENT, HAS IT'S FLAWS LIKE MANY OTHER CRASH GAMES, BUT IS STILL FUN AND ADDICTIVE. IT'S ALMOST THERE, BUT NOT QUITE. BUT I'LL TELL YOU THIS. IT'S THE BEST CRASH GAME IN TODAY'S GAMING AGE.)
